high-performance
multiservice switch designed with carrier class profile, using all
experience of Ericsson as a long time supplier of solutions for
public telecom networks. The AXD 301 system has a performance,
scalability and reliability that makes it the ideal solution for
large public networks, however a minimum configuration of the AXD
301 system is just one subrack and that makes it also well suited
for small public networks or enterprise networks.
AXD 301 is an optimal solution for carrying multiple services and
large amounts of traffic. Services supported include ATM, IP/MPLS,
Frame Relay, circuit emulation, and voice services. Any combination
of services can be handled simultaneously - providing in one system
all the services required by the most demanding users.
The system scales from 10 Gbit/s, in one subrack, up to 160 Gbit/s.
